week 4

  Tell a story about a happy/challenging/funny/meaningful moment from the week What have you learned?    I have learned that this week that patience is key! we have took the time this week to paint the truck yellow and black,. I feel like we jumped the gun this week because we should have waited for better weather. We also picked yellow for the truck witch seemed like a fun color at the time. after closer inspections tho we realized pretty fast that a dark blue car needs more coats of a lighter color before it can be yellow. in someplaces the yellow doesn't look very good because there's some blue showing though.  Reflection on progress towards goals from week 1 this week I feel like we are wrapping up our work and we were able to learn the important skills we set out to learn. personally I enjoyed trying some body work myself because this is completely new thing for me and I had a lot of fun working with the materials.  Questions you have what's next for the...

WEEK 3

  Tell a story about a happy/challenging/funny/meaningful moment from the week This week we have had some good progress on our 500$ truck. we have shaved the front bumper down to fit the tires better so they dont rub. We have also started on some body work using bondo. this so far has been a great learning experience for us. the truck now runs very well with fresh gas and a good oil change. We also figured that adding fuel stabilizer would be good for the truck and so far we are in luck.  What have you learned?  we have learned that picking a new skill to practice such as body work can be hard. were having trouble getting the bondo to be super smooth. this has been good fun learning how to work the bondo and get it to bond properly!  Reflection on progress towards goals from week 1  this week I feel like we have come pretty far the truck is slowly coming together now. in the coming weeks we plan to get the truck painted yellow so its all one color.
